The aim of BIUST as an evolving University is to create a residence culture that is conducive to living and learning. Residence life, as part of the student experience, is intended to enhance holistic development of every on-campus student. The university residences have the necessary basic furniture and facilities. A staff member takes charge of each residence.
With demand for on-campus accommodation exceeding supply, off campus accommodation is a reality. The university strives to provide enough information and guidance on the available off campus accommodation facilities.
The university runs its refectory through a private caterer with a view to providing healthy meals to both students and staff. The refectory is within the university campus and serves a variety of dietary requirements taking into account the diversity of the university community.
